I have solved the connection with my MZ-N but when trying to transfer the audio files I get the following message: Now my win 10 64 bit box reports a problem loading the driver no hash, it says. Maybe your Transfer Settings has a to big Bit rate, to change this: Someone a comment or idea? When I install the driver it says “Net MD” the hash for this file is not present.

Isn’t it true that your driver is unsigned and therefore will be removed by windows 10 64 bit on every function update? I am not shore it will work but give it md walkman mz-n420d try.
That worked for my MZ-RH1, even though my laptop said it had failed, i started Sonic Stage and connected my mini disc and it was regocnized! It says write protected in both positions. Thank you so much! I am md walkman mz-n420d if you know of a way or can help md walkman mz-n420d in this case.
I am not able to update the drivers, it won’t give me that option. It’s working ok windows 7 64 bit.

Now I have mds to transfer: Device status states “The drivers for this md walkman mz-n420d are not installed”. It’s said that there is now 64 bit md walkman mz-n420d available for every MiniDisc, because more and more people are running Windows 7 64 bit on their computers.
Is there a way to force a driver to install?
And up yours Sony you bunch of gits. Maybe the disc space is full because you have songs in a different format SP-mode like the oldest MiniDisc’s has. I have the latest SonicStage but am unable to find drivers that work otherwise. It seems that the Creators Update messed with the unsigned driver. Needs to install SonicStage CP ver 4. MiniDisc is md walkman mz-n420d great format, long live the MD. Got Sonic to recognize the device. The driver won’t install because windows 10 has a different system for driver signature verification.
Luckily I downloaded and saved ultimate version of Sonic Stage before the site stopped supporting. Md walkman mz-n420d am deligted that my md is being recognised and md walkman mz-n420d tracks on the mds are visible and I am eternally gratefull for your effort.
